The Koran was written right after Muhammad's death.......so they went thru finding anything written down or oral traditions. This is why it is so confusing compared to the Torah and the Gospels. Everyone must remember that the Torah and the Gospels were written by defeated People......the Koran was written at the beginning of there conquest. They needed soldiers.
