Daniel Yergin, author of the opinion presented in the WSJ, and co-founder and chairman of Cambridge Energy Research Associates, an energy research consultancy, has often been wrong in the past.

Although the following is dated 2007, I am sure that someone from the Peak Oil camp will be issuing an updated retort to Yergin's latest opinion in the WSJ:
