I just chewed out a broker at E*Trade after he told me GVRP was halted. I told him emphatically that it's NOT halted and he better quit giving customers misinformation; he then started telling me about the NASD warning about brokerages should exercise caution, blah blah blah, and I cut him off and told him that it's not the same as being halted. He said I was right. I told him somebody there has to know what's going on and it's not fair or good business practice to keep everyone in the dark. I told him to have Brian Young (the manager I've been speaking with) to call me with an answer. I said to him, you're on the front line and need to know what's happening, if anything. He sheepishly said I was right, lol...
