F1fan: You quickly jumped from asking a question about Bloomberg making possible untrue statements i.e."Shouldn't IDCC have refuted these bogus stories from Bloomberg if they were not true?, to a statement that Bloomberg actually made false statements i.e. " and not be held responsible for making false statements?.

The fact is no one knows whether the statements are true or false, or partially true or false. There is no way that IDCC is supposed to respond to every rumor that has been put out. As long as the statements weren't false and misleading and weren't put out with an intent to manipulate or affect the stock price, they cannot be held accountable.
