There were two separate P.I.'s used in two different studies (GS9451 and GS9256) and each study experienced one SAE.

I understand that. I guess the overall point is the odds are that the non-nuke is at fault because it was used in both trials whereas each of the PIs was only present in one of the two trials; i.e., it's unlikely that both PIs have their own safety shortcomings that would account for the SAEs seen across the two trials.
