IMO, short of a major material event, like headlines screaming 'TECO STRIKES OIL', we are at the mercy of the hedge funds and their manipulations. I pointed out before, that one of the principals in TECO, as far as I'm aware, was the founder of one of a major hedge funds, Level III.
We are in the world of penny stock shenanighans, naked shorting, and bullish pr releases to suck in buyers while the hedge funds that have been quietly buying earlier are now selling,, which sometimes is credible, but often a ruse, imo.
