All that showed me is how misinformed most people are about the workings and nomenclature of the stock market. Including our so-fist-ic-ated basher friends here. I just now checked the Annual Report from Shore. They state shares as Issued and Outstanding as almost one word. It's a 'given'. It does NOT mean Issued minus Cancelled = Outstanding. All certs are numbered from 1 on up. There can be millions of them. When registered ownership changes some numbers are no longer valid but they are replaced with new numbers. I've never heard of anyone keeping track of the total of all the shares that were ever made up by the T A. That's meaningless. Think of how many that would be for I B M for example. Sorry .. I don't believe Frizzell bought into that one at all. And yes of course the cancelled certs are kept by the T A just for the record. They are worthless however.
