If he blogged that he was anticipating August, but was only unsure of the date, then there is no reason not to still believe it is going to be August....If it is not going to be August I would like to know that. I don't need to no all the specifics as to why the delay, but I believe it is important to manage expectations! He does not need to, and maybe should not, post as much info as he does, but once he does,I believe he should be accountable for the info/expectations that are expressed. I invest based upon the info I am given, and if he knows that Duane Reade is not likely to happen this month then I may need to change my investment strategy. Until he informs us otherwise, there is no reason to believe that Duane Reade is still not on track.

With high risk may come high reward, but not always. I have to imagine that most people know that all penny stocks are very high risk and they do not come with any guarantees. If these stocks were almost sure things then everyone would be in them. Who here was coerced to buy? Who had a gun put to their head? Who didn't know the risks entering? I feel badly for those who invested more than they should have and for those who thought they were investing in a sure thing. This stock is risky and offers no promises. It does however offer to work hard and give it its best shot so that those who freely choose to do so may reap the rewards one day. If you are down in this stock then salvage what you have and try to gain a little back somewhere else. If you can't do the time don't do the crime - or in this case don't invest.

So it's ok that some investor's got "got" back in 2010 when he PR'd....

2010 is not going to look like the previous phase. The conditions are ready for us to leave behind the Initial Operations Phase, which is characterized by modest sales and high development costs, in order to enter the Implementation and/or Growth Phase in 2010.

2010 is the year in which these things can come together and bring impressive results.

So it was for Eric to not "inform" us of changes before....but not now? I invested based on the "info given" as well...and I lost a lot. To bad I didn't get a heads up to "change my investment strategy"...
