U.S. stock futures tread water ahead of Bernanke
FRANKFURT (MarketWatch) — U.S. stock index futures traded near unchanged Friday as investors around the world appeared reluctant to press new positions ahead of a long-awaited speech by Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke that will be parsed for any clues the central bank will take additional steps to buoy the economy.
