TPL doesn't own patents, they only manage patents for others. So why TPL would buy PTSC? They tried to buy PTSC patents (not the company) on behalf of Moore in 11-2004 for $7.5 mil plus sharing future license income. PTSC refused the deal. At that time, PTSC strongly believed they own exclusive rights to these patents, then things changed. Now PTSC is working with TPL again. I think the terms should be not worse than what they offered in 11-2004.
