ssalner: yes...there was a great deal of confidence back then also. Different scenario in this case though. MOT was a jury trial with no Special Master. The jury was supposed to decipher the technical issues of the patents on their own. As LOOP stated in a post this morning...that type of scenario is an infringing companies dream.
