Also, what gimmicks to use to pretend like cuts in spending will happen.

Neither one of them wanted to take the heat for passing tax hikes so they left them out created a trigger and declared a "super congress" or "super committee" to bypass Tea Party members and force their agenda.

Now both Boehner and Obama can claim they didn't raise taxes the trigger kicked in and the only compromise the 12 appointed committee members could come up with is raising taxes.

There are no cuts in spending. There never will be and we all get to find out what raising taxes in the middle of a recession does!
