As China continues to provide a boon for Yum! Brands restaurants such as KFC and Pizza Hut, the Louisville, Ky.-based company is now looking at other international markets for expansion.

Stocks and Shares reported that the company anticipates entry into Argentina later this year.

Micky Pant, president of Yum! International, said that the timing is right as general wage inflation around the world is low, countering commodity price increases.

Argentina has been on the radar for a few quick-service expansions. Wendy's announced early this year that it plans to develop 50 units there within the next 10 years. Quiznos signed a development deal for Argentina last year.
