Are you always this bearish? I personally agree, primarily due to the personal debt and US deficit situations, that the economy is not as strong as some think. Throw in a housing bubble and what do you have? However, miring one's self in overly bullish or bearish economic biases is not healthy for trading.
The market generally does what is least expected. You and many others were screaming melt down just about the time the markets rallied. I keep thinking bearishly going into summer, but this seems to be an opposing year. Meaning there was no January effect, the decline was into March, not beginning in March as would be expected. We have rallied hard into summer and it may very well continue. Better to just trade the trends with nimble fingers than commit to a bias, IMO.
