Thanks---never tried Bt, will pick some up for next spring--dang it,
May is 8 months away. Like the Chicago Cubs--wait until next year.
Just did some reading and U tube videoing--
suggestions include using a piece of toilet paper roll around a seedling, wrapping foil around the stem as preventative measures;
cutting the buggers out and piling up dirt along the stem at a few points to see if further rooting can be induced before the plant dies is last ditch effort.
