The key word is ‘situations”. I used the word ‘instances’. I am flexible on this issue. There are instances or situations where all else is overridden. Conversely there are instances or situations where doing what is right means not putting your life on the line.

There be situations that come where there is an overide of all else, the demand is "Do the Right Thing", IN MY OPINION,ONLY

I see no logic in many instances of trading one life for another.
