If the likely sale doesn't go through, I would love to see them develop an in house team of litigators. They would shortly have a formidable and intimidating working knowledge of the patents IDCC relies upon and would soon be familiar to the court system components (ITC CAFC Del Chancery or FDC) where claims are regularly made.

I saw a recent post I liked suggesting 100 plus new attorneys would add some firepower. There is little more discouraging in life as an attorney than ending up on the other side of a case with a lawyer who has nothing else to do. Especially when they seem to have the case wired for sound from the start.
