That $57.00 was based on things as usual/ earnings. It got blown away because no one was expecting IDCC to shop themselves around. He came up with that new target based on his personal models. It seems like the takeout projection prices are a dime a dz ranging from $1000-$300. I'm still trying to figure out how to play this whole thing. I still haven't sold a single share but I'm starting to think about lightening up but replacing those shares with options. The problem here is that in order to get a reasonable premium, you have to go to a strike price over $100 which will cost you $29+ in gains from our current levels.
