It is a serious response, but as a response it's neither adequate nor complete.

AMD's architecture has 3 advantages when compared to Intel's architecture:

The first is very low latency to local memory.

The second is seperation of the memory and I/O busses.

The third is memory bandwidth that scales as sockets are added.

Blackford increasees memory bandwidth, partially addressing the issue three.

Actually there's a fourth one, which is that AMD's platform is widely available with years of proof in the field, while Blackford is a future system for Intel. Intel is working to copy AMD's distributed bandwidth architecture, as it copied AMD's CPU design, but that won't be ready for a long time.
