CLB—We have an answer to our question re the strange trading earlier this week: RBC Capital Markets downgraded the stock today following the 2Q11 earnings report, and the share price is off 4.6% on a big up day for the broad market.

I haven’t read the RPC report nor listened to the CC yet. Will post more about this later. In the meantime, if you or anyone here knows anything about this, please chime in. T.i.a. Dew
