Both Motorola and Lucent have CEO's that are also Chair persons..unlike the input from our Resident Hired Gun..

Lucent Technologies To Webcast Meeting With Financial Analysts At SUPERCOMM 2005

MURRAY HILL, N.J., June 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Lucent Technologies (NYSE: LU - News) today announced that Chairman and CEO Patricia Russo and Network Solutions Group President Cindy Christy will meet with financial analysts at the SUPERCOMM 2005 trade show on Wednesday, June 8, at 1:30 p.m. (ET). The meeting will include presentations discussing the telecom market and Lucent's performance.

Any chance Harry and the board might appoint Merritt as the COB?
