Today's Forecast
Friday, July 15th - 6:10 am

Today's high temperatures will be slightly warmer than yesterday. Valley residents will be seeing daytime highs moving up to the mid 70s this afternoon...when the morning clouds begin to clear. However, with a storm system approaching tonight... skies will turn mostly cloudy. Look for rain to begin overnight in the valley into the morning hours. Up to .25" is possible. Showers will become scattered into the afternoon.

Sunday, the sunshine returns. However, the onshore, unseasonably cool flow off the ocean will continue. Daytime highs will be in the low 70s. Next week, the weather trend will continue to be cooler than normal (mainly in the 70s) with occasional showers.

So far today...
High: 60° Precip: 0.00"
Low: 59° Normal Record
80° 103° (1941)
57° 48° (1943)
Sunrise 5:36am
Sunset 8:56pm

In a stable airmass (little convection) with strong winds, it is possible to see this interesting cloud.

A) Noctilucent cloud
B) Cap cloud
C) Scarf cloud
D) Lenticular cloud

I'll be heading out for my BF at 7:30am.
Then meeting Erik at his place aroung 9am.
He has the gun for me.
