ITT’s spinoff-company names are ITT Exelis (XLS) for the defense company and Xylem (XYL) for the water company:

These names are curiously close to Exelixis, a biotech company, and Xyrem, a drug marketed by Jazz Pharmaceutcials. The world must be running out of good names.
