RE: Mikkj - mental health care insurance

< Why is it with you and spall, that every problem a corporation has, or causes, is either the fault of the consumer, or the responsibility of the consumer to fix? >

Mental health care is not the responsibility of a corporation, it is the people's responsibility to get whatever they need. Food, shelter, and other necessities always end up the responsibility of those who need them.

< They're (corporations) designed to survive, and make a profit. They have no conscience, morals, or master. >

Exactly. And government is the same. I would rather have the choices in the hands of the people, not corporations or government.

< Why wasn't that money used to purchase power at a reasonable rate when they could get it? >

Part of 'deregulation' in Calif involved restricting companies from buying power ahead of time.

< They're so obviously ripping everybody off, but there's nothing we can do about it, because they're private companies, and they're all we got (and they know it). >

Calif can do like other states; make new power plants and promote competition for providing service.
