Rocket-normally after the suspension the stock resumes "trading" on the grey market.

In this case, however, I think the SEC, the DTCC, and the Broker/Dealers are totally bumfuzzoled. Nothing remotely like this has ever happened in the US, and I don't think they know where to start!!

My bet would be that broker/dealers will refuse to allow trades to be made until they receive written SEC and DTCC guidance, or, if they allow trades in shares credited to accounts, they will require excessive margin deposit as a guarantee of settlement, even in cash accounts.

As for the SEC/DTCC, flip a coin. Nothing like this was ever anticipated, and they have neither the tools nor the procedures to deal with it!

Whatever the outcome, this will be a case for future textbooks.
