This brinkmanship is tiring to listen to.

Senate Repubs refuse to pass a debt limit hike without massive cuts to Medicare and if any tax raises are included.

Senate Dems can pass this, but it would fail in the House, leading the country to default.

House Repubs can pass a debt limit hike without any tax raises and which decimates Medicare and Medicaid, but it's doomed to failure in the Senate.

Which will lead us to default.
