Hey guys,

Thanks for the DD, good job. I am concerned that when I met with Winfield and DeGasperis in Vancouver they said it's only around 6 people heavily opposed to the mine. After looking at the photo's from the Comstock residents association it appears to be more like 30-40 who showed up to protest. They say hundreds on the web site so I know they are lying as well. But then they say 20 to 1 against in a petition? Who to believe? But what also disturbs me a little is I recognize one of the protesters is the dude with the beard from the History channel Modern marvels video on youtube.

You would think he would be all for creating jobs and mining.
I guess he is just about living in the past. Still I find it
disturbing that I was pherhaps mislead as to the size of this group and to the lengths they will go with regaurds to there own ignorant stubborness. I'm afraid that they may get legal on this.
What to you think?

Shows up at about 1:00 in. Also gold is hanging onto 1500 by the skin of it's teeth right now so I'm not as excited as you guys appear to be. Do you think the locals will come around and realize that this is a good thing and that a tourist trap and an actual operational mine with a future not a past can happily
co-exsist or are they just a budge of grouchie old retired hippies who have all the time in the world and will maybe go so far as to get legal on this? Not that they have a case but it could hold things up. Sorry to rain on your parade here guys I just want to know your first hand take on the situation?
