The day starts out cloudy.. but ends with beautiful sunshine. High temperatures are trending warmer as well. After a cool Father's Day, daytime highs will rise to the mid 70s. Marine clouds will begin to dissipate by early afternoon. Tonight, partly cloudy with overnight lows in the mid 50s.

Summer officially begins at 10:16 am tomorrow-- and summer weather will also grace the Portland-Vancouver-Salem area. Daytime highs are expected to reach the low 80s.

The ridge of high pressure helping to create the warmer weather will stick around through Wednesday.. and then gradually move east. This will allow more clouds to arrive on Thursday...and cooler air to follow. Daytime highs will cool down to a more average range for June. (low 70s)
