That was something I was wondering about. You would think being the star of a TV show (which the company would be) would have a sizeable financial reward. But the couple of times I've caught "Deadliest Catch", they were whining about not having enough money to pay the boat's bills. And this is one of the top shows with over 1,000,000 viewers per episode. Now this means either -
they got screwed by the production company or
they were faking it for "dramatic effect"
I don't like either of those options. Can you imagine if Deep Blue was asked to fake money problems or other conflict for TV. This place would absolutely explode.
