I buy perlite in 3 cu ft bales
plus you need to add organic matter
never had a problem in my earthboxes
only have two left here at the house
two are at my wife's office
where I usually dig up a couple tomatoes and replant them from the garden once they get whacked down by the frost
ad still have some carribean reds growing
