Unfortunately- people all too often do put all of their eggs in one basket- and inevitably that basket drops and all the eggs break-- game over. It's easy to do when you convince yourself that you are 100% right. When there is no doubt in your mind that you can't miss- it's easy to bet the ranch. There are ALWAYS outside influences that CAN come into play and destroy the best thought out, best researched investment ideas. Again- NEVER put all your eggs in one basket. To put more than 20% of your eggs in one investment is dangerous. To put more than 50% is borderline insane. To put close to 100% is just a recipe for financial ruin.
