After a brief lull on Christmas Day, violence between Palestinians and Israelis broke out again on Thursday, leaving at least six dead.

Where is the outrage here? Today's death toll stands at 7, and what's the point of all this violence?

No non-psychotic person would ever believe that the practice of killing one's self while taking others with you is not an abomination. But where is the justification for causing thousands of people to become prisoners in their own home - within substandard living conditions, because some within their ethnic group have choosen to do horrible things? Since when do we imprison the group for the acts of a few? My hat's off to Ariel Sharon, how better to fuel the hatred!

The reality is, Palestinians within occuppied territories have become prisoners in their own homes. The reality of the occupation is that decent people can not work and earn money to provide for their families. Their children can not go to school. They are prisoners in their own homes, and all because some Palestinians have done some really atrocious things. Is there any hope for resolution within the current situation??.. How would we feel if we were all imprisioned because of the acts of some of our neighbors? In the US, our prisoners, after due process of law, enjoy a better living standard than Israeli-Palestinians.

If there is justification for punnishing the whole for the acts of a few, it is foreign to me. How do the Israeli's think this will not end badly? And everyday of the Occupation, the hatred grows more intense, so that the greatest threat to Israel is Israel, herself. Israel speaks of it's "right to exist" and the forces that threaten that right. Yet, by her own actions, Israel looks like her own greatest threat. And their treatment of the Palestinian People, as a whole, is completely reprehensible. Sure, by these tactic, they are winning "battles" but Israel will not win the war this way! And once again, the whole world is essentially silent.....

I don't get it?..
