I'm not sure what the law is on this point. You can refuse to testify to avoid self-incrimination, but can you refuse to produce documents?

Arete's point and I've been amazed no one had commented on it.

Of course I supposed he can just say he doesn't have custody and control, and then take the Fifth when asked about that.
