If i remember correctly, the world
is using about 20-25 billion barrels of oil per year.

In the last 4-5 years - i cant remember exactly, other than the TUPI find - there is no major reservoir find that can replace the yearly consumption...so we have accelerated the use of oil reserves already found/discovered. Its ok not to worry...the industry people say that we have enough oil and that production will be sufficient to meet the growth of the world...afterall, why is industry going arctic...and switching refineries to heavier oil types? There is plenty of sweet and light oil for everybody. Rest assured that the industry people will vouch for this - it is a fact, its in wikepedia and has been verified by snoopes as true fact.

As to Cantrell oil field - its been mismanaged....but not to worry - its coming back from aprox 500k to 2 million once industry gets behind it.
And Ghawar...it still pumps 5 million per day...forget about the 25-50% water cutout...

You are not suppose to think for yourself these days, because the industry people are looking out for your interests. <>
