AVRS’s ENTERPRISE TECHNOLOGY OVERVIEW

AVRS’s Enterprise Technology has the ability to seamlessly interface with virtually any hardware, any application software, any workflow environment, any speech input device and any processing method or device. The transparency of AVRS’s Enterprise Technology makes it effortless for a customer to integrate because it eliminates the need for a user to make changes that disturb its systems, internal technology and employees, which can cause a loss of productivity and revenue. Implementing new technology generally creates a hurdle for organizations because changes in workflow patterns, system revisions and retraining are generally required for such change. The transparent nature of AVRS’s technology enables smooth implementation.

AVRS Enterprise Technology has functionality broken up into three components:

Transaction Manager
Transcription Server
Dictation/Correction Assistant Clients

Transaction Manager (TM), manages job processing from the dictation & correction clients and Transcription Servers (TS). The Transaction Manager system houses all the data necessary for the processing of each task, as well as all user and system settings and security information. The TM controls all Transcription Servers that are enabled on a network as well as all clients that are active. When a job is submitted from a client computer, TM sends it to the first available TS. If no compatible Transcription Server is available at that time, the job will be queued for later processing.

Transcription Server(s) (TS)-process the dictation and converts it into text. This is the system that will have a dictation recognition engine residing on it. In the event of a TS hardware failure the job is re-queued to a different TS.

The Dictation and Correction Assistant Clients (DC & CA) is the user interface level of AVRS Enterprise. This is where the end user interacts with the system. From the Client, a user can dictate, correct, proofread and modify personal user settings. Once connected to the TM, a user can choose any stored profiles that can be used to process their dictation, and can also make changes to their correction assistant(s), notification(s), or any other user settings. The Correction Assistant Client is used to retrieve jobs, select users, and correct proofread dictation jobs.

AVRS’s Enterprise technology (Workstation, WAN, Internet or Intranet ) is designed for maximum efficiency of workflow in any office. This technology can be customized to satisfy the needs of a large corporation, hospital, law firm, and virtually any large organization. If you have a need for efficient creation, correction and proofreading of reports, letters, e-mail, etc. by a large number of people, AVRS’s Enterprise Technology can provide you with the most efficient solution.
