Debt sucks even more if you're in business for yourself. It's a necessary evil. It's the reason I'm currently down in the dumps. This is typically the slow time of year for my business, and sometimes it becomes a sandtrap.

You have to keep up on the payments to the creditors, otherwise, if you're late, they'll take your reasonable 12.9% interest rate and double it. Yes, double it!

Tell me where the logic in that is? So you're having trouble paying on time, well then let's make it twice as hard. Then the credit card cos./banks go crying to Congress that too many people are declaring bankrutpcy and it's costing them!?!?!

BTW, you'd all be interested to know that 3 out of 4 people declare bankruptcy due to medical bills. Once the insurance runs out, and the savings run out, they turn to the credit cards...what else do they have left?
