I play both. Typical $1 ticket ranges from a low of $24 to a high of $120 most commonly around $60 bucks. Usual ticket might be something like 1-4/1-4/All or 1-3/1-5/All or 1,2/1-5/All. It usually a very broad ticket.

Even the tickets i lose on have 2 out of 3 in the tri with some major longshot. I cash lots of $50 - $150 tickets which are the bread and butter of my wagering, but occasionally i snag a thousand dollar or better tri. Canadian pools make strategy a key on American tracks, usually ours are better payouts for me.

Tonight I played Lonestar, Woodbine, Stampede, and Northlands. With all the bad wagers, I ended up -$700. Not good for someone who makes a majority of their living gambling. ( I have come to expect +150 to +200)
