Hello Anthony, could give me the contact details of Alex please ?
because shells have "X" amount of value.....
DMXC REVOKED 8/13/2010 why the continued messages thru 2013?

Sadly, this is indeed a dead issue imo.. However, you will not hear that from anyone involved; ie Livak..
Do what you will, but mine was written off on 2012 taxes after a phone conversation with the power that was...
I do not hold any ill will towards anyone, rules just got tough and we did not get a break for the old shell delta inhabited..
I held from dmxp to dmxc to dead issue.. rodli to livak.. pro all the way.. just did not work out.
Best of luck to any & all!
Old Timer... aka Broke Old Timer!
Peace
I haven't written it off but that is because I have three tax credits and such and wouldn't benefit as much as in the future. Long term is long term in my mind. I would recommend talking to a tax professional or search around in the internet. Good luck!
I wrote mine off last tax year because I needed some losses.
Knock on wood. The IRS has not called!!!!! LOL
Question for anyone who used to hold this stock. Did any of you wait to write it off until recently. Does anyone know the rules for how long you have to write off a stock once it appears to be a loss?
No, I haven't tried contacting the lawyer lately...he is really resourceful. It is the CEO (Livak) who you can't get a hold of. It looks dead in the water but I am holding onto the shares instead of junking them since i have enough tax reasons not to junk them at this time. This helps just in case there is a hail mary pass that something happens but I won't hold my breath on it. Feel free to contact Livak or the attorney and see what you can. I am tired of trying to get information to no avail.
Any luck with a follow up call to that lawyer?
Nope. That's an old one.
Can anyone tell me if this is this year?
LEWISBURG, Ky., Aug. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Delta Mining and
Exploration Corp. (Delta) (Pink Sheets: DMXP) wishes to disclose preliminary
findings on their Gold concessions in Bolivia.
The Robert concession controlled by Delta is roughly 3830 acres and is
located approximately 50 miles by paved highway south of La Paz. The
concession is located on the Altiplano alongside the Coniri fault at an
elevation of 13,000 feet. The property is about 80% rocky outcrop or shallow
soils with the balance of the land being covered by Cretaceous to Tertiary
aged sediments. The large percentage of outcrop simplifies exploration and
due to easy access and drilling conditions is quite cost effective.
The low hills exposed above the Altiplano plain are either Paleozonic
sedimentary rocks and/or Miocene dacite rocks. The sedimentary rocks consist
of thinly bedded shales (60%) and bedded sandstones (40%) believed to be of
the Vila Vila formation. This geology provides a good indication for positive
host rocks to gold mineralization in this region.
To date, a small number of samples have been collected from the dacite and
have returned values of 0.333 g/t of Gold, 2.3% Lead, and 0.667% Zinc. The
limited amount of exploration completed set in the context of the promising
geology and the presence of successful producing mines in the area suggest
that more detailed exploration is warranted.
The extensive experience of Dr. Barry Rayment and Stephen Kay in this
region of South America in conjunction with their gold exploration and mining
history will ensure Delta prepares and completes the appropriate work program
while being considerate of the local culture.
With injection of capital expected over the coming weeks, a work program
will be planned for this property together with the previously disclosed
diamond exploration properties in both Montana and Bolivia.
Delta Mining and Exploration Corp., http://www.deltamine.com : is a
mineral exploration company with an extensive portfolio of diamond and gold
properties throughout the state of Montana, and in Bolivia, South America.
Delta controls some 7,500 acres throughout Montana located within the Wyoming
Craton where many of North America's diamonds have been found. Another
10,000 acres of prospective diamond and gold properties are controlled in
Bolivia, South America.

Why would anyone waste time on this one anymore. Wasnt this formerly DMXP? The big willy wiz pump and dump?
Thanks! All indications are that this is still ongoing...just taking a lot longer and since he hasn't called me back it is hard to guess if/when this will start moving. I don't think he has any reason to lie since it isn't currently traded and doesn't benefit them to have us hold onto "worthless" shares...I will e-mail him again to remind him to try calling me back.
Just want to say thanks for the effort your putting in here. Giving you a person mark.Still hope this one is alive. GO DMXC
Ok, I just e-mailed him again indicating that I hope he didn't forget to contact me. We will see what happens since it has been a week since any phone call from him.
He never called me back. So I called him again. He actually answered the phone. He said he was driving and would call me back in about 15 minutes. That was 1620 minutes ago. Still waiting on the call back.
So far, I have gathered that he uses his twin girls as an excuse of why he has a hard time getting a hold of me. Keep in mind, I have twin girls that are about the same age (his are 2, mine are almost 2). I have no trouble finding time to call.
Anyways, in one voice-mail, he indicated that DMXC was definitely not dead but wanted to talk to me about it on the phone. Well, hopefully Alex and I will have that phone call eventually...
Alex actually called me on Friday. However, it went to voice mail and I tried calling him back and and it went to voice mail. I will let you know if I get a hold of him.
He hasn't called me yet. Will fill you guys in if and when I do hear from him.
He didn't call me. To be honest, I was pretty busy today and forgot that he was supposed to call. He just e-mailed me indicating that he lost track of time...e-mail below:

Mr. Livak,
I was a stockholder in DMXC. I have had numerous e-mails back and forth with Mr. Doug Fant (saw his name on SEC related papers during the delisting procedures) as I couldn't get in contact with you at the time. He provided me your e-mail address. I was curious if anything is happening or will be happening with DMXC since it was delisted a couple years ago. I know DMXC was punished for something that occurred way before DMXC was involved in the shell. All use shareholders were shocked and saddened when the stock was delisted. If there are plans to relist, what will happen to us "current" shareholders? I and other stockholders have been waiting to hear anything and have not. I look forward to any information you can provide. Is there any Investor Relations contact number or anything for others to call? Thank you for your time.
This was just received. I just sent Alex an e-mail and will let you know if I hear anything back (not expecting to since I have had 0% success in contacting him so far).

Anthony,
Good question- finding a clean shell is key and checking back paperwork, especially SEC-related paperwork is key. What happened with the former shell is that they (before they became Delta Mining) had missed one SEC filing back about 2000 or 1999, and there was no way to track down the former company members an dfind out what was-or wasn't filed- so Delta got de-listed.
Try Alex by email first and you can say that Doug gave you his email address..... "alex.livak@gmail.com"
Sincerely,
Doug F.
I sent another e-mail to Doug asking for the contact information again for Alex (he didn't respond back to my first e-mail which means he ignored it or thought he replied and didn't). I also asked if he knew how long it takes to find another shell company. I understand it would take a little longer if you are trying to find one with no SEC prior paperwork issues BUT this is going on 2+ years with no updates...If I hear more, I will get back with you.
I applied and was accepted to moderate the page.
The "business plan" was to rip people off.
No honey, you ruined what was the business plan and the forerunner of spambook. btw: there is some guy trying to bring back the shell.
You're kidding. HITT was a total scam run by a career con artist. People went to jail.
Thx again for your efforts & sharing w/us, whichever way it turns-out ;)
I am not sure what the end plan is. The only person I have ever got into contact with was the attorney who represented DMXC to the SEC when it was getting delisted. Since he showed up on the SEC papers, at least I knew he existed and helped them. Anyone can e-mail him. Every number given to me never works to get in contact with Alex. I may e-mail him and ask for an e-mail address and/or number to go directly to Alex. Other than what I have told you, I don't know anything about what will happen or how will it benefit us. Anything benefits us more than right now when we hold stocks of nothing.
The only thing I can think if holding them up is looking for one that isn't delinquent in old SEC filings that caused DMXC to be taken down. Not sure why this is taking them 2+ years to do but at least it is seeing some type of work being done behind the scenese.
I remember HITT. It ran up until Janice Shell and her gang attacked it. Too bad as they were way ahead of their time and needed start up capital but missed out do to time limitations to sell their stock. It's what Spambook is today. You really need to do your DD but right now this is only a shell. You really can't bash a company thats not in existence.
I know virtually nothing about this sort of thing, but the only time I ever made money on a penny stock, it was a situation like this. Some little company took on a shell or something of the sort, became HITT (Hitsgalore) and was going to be the next Yahoo. Went sky-high and I was riding it out until that fateful day when I saw the magic word associated with it - f-r-a-u-d. I literally ran to the nearest phone ('twas in the days before I had a cellular device) and sold every share I had. I still dumped it in time to make about $7,000.00.
So who knows about this situation? Does anyone have any idea if they're running any equipment anywhere? Do they maybe have stacks of diamonds or gold or whatever they're mining these days - just waiting for the chance to go public/legal/legitimate?
DD.....you are exactly correct.....if this is backed into another shell.....(and, god knows why that would be done)....the stockholders of that shell will mildly benefit.....we are left behind....so, this picture doesn't "add up" for a variety of reasons....
the more likely scenario is to back another company into this dead dog....then, we will be simply reversed into near oblivion....but, still alive enough to collect a penny on the dollar....MAYBE!!!!
IN SHORT....THE STORY MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE...
Thx4 chasing that down Anthony, U-da-Man......but one question; not being a pro on issues like this , I'm not seeing how we stand to (conceivably) benefit even if he acquires a new clean shell...I don't recall hearing of any instance where shares from a zombie stock like this can be transfered into an entirely different (active) corporate entity. Not to mention that even if Alex could do this , he is most-likely under no obligation to do so....however; if he were to do such a thing out of a sense of fairness or philanthropy , his reputation/credibility would be A#1 in my book & likely miles above the typical PennyMarket BS. I truely hope I'm missing something here...sure would be nice to have a piece of 'something' ('anything') for a change...I suspect the other 120 followers on this board feel the same.
signed, Clueless in San Diego ;)
shells are not very difficult to find.....so, I don't see why that should be a "hold up".....
Just received:
Anthony,
Okay I spoke with Alex a couple of days ago. They are trying to locate another valid shell company (no prior SEC paperwork problems) which Delta could acquire and then legitimately become a publicly-traded company once again.
Sincerely,
Doug F.

Hey Mr. Fant,
I didn't know if you were able to find out more about DMXC and Alex. I believe the last status was you were trying to talk to a client who knew him pretty well or something to that effect. Again, I appreciate any information that you could provide...getting real worried since it has been a while since we heard anything from him or DMXC.
Thanks,
Anthony
OK sounds like the right move...thanks!
I have had a few discussions with Doug and he says to not do anything like junk the shares. Last he heard, Alex was trying to merge with another company. I say wait another year and let's see what Doug can find out for us. Doug has been very helpful.
Thanks for the update Anthony! I still have many shares of DMXC and wonder if it's time to write them off? I sincerely hope there is still life left in this company? It would be good to just know one way or the other???
On Friday evening, he (Doug Fant, Attorney) contacted me asking if he had followed up with me. I told him he had not. Here is the email string from that conversation:

Anthony,
What happened to Delta is that the Madoff fiasco came along. After that disaster, the SEC decided, amongst other steps, to purge the pink sheets of any company with an irregularity in its papers or exchange registration. Delta had merged in 2001 or 2002 into an unrelated corporate entity. That original corporation had missed filing its annual SEC papers in 2001. Since that entity no longer existed in 2009-2010, Delta had no way to correct that error.
But Delta is alive and kicking. The asset controlled by Delta is a pretty good mineral asset and Alex is working trying to JV with a larger mining company. I don't know if Delta will be successful, but but check with Alex for the details here: alex.livak@gmail.com
If Alex does not respond, let me know.
Sincerely,
Doug F.
Still no additional information?
Well I sent an e-mail to the one attorney that represented DMXC in teh SEC case. Here is my e-mail to him and his reply. I will update with more information if/when I hear it.

I've no idea, definately would call & ask though.. my guess would be indefinitely
I am in no hurry to write it off since my income tax is low due to my twins. I will wait it out for now and hope anything happens to the stock. How long would Scottrade hold the stock on my account while it is set to inactive?
So I guess we can write this off this year on our tax returns.
He didn't return my call either...

Delta Mining & Exploration
EMERGING PRECIOUS METAL AND MINERAL EXPLORATION COMPANY
Delta Mining and Exploration Inc. (“Delta”) is an emerging exploration company whose main objective is to locate and explore land with mineral and precious metal deposits in the mining rich regions of North America.
This past year Delta decided to expand its portfolio of properties to land that has the potential for precious metal and mineral deposits. After an extensive search the company decided on the mining rich state of Nevada, which management believes has the most diverse land in the wealthiest mining region in the United States.
Delta signed a land agreement for 31 unpatented hard-rock mining claims totaling 680 acres of land for the Delcer Buttes Property in Elko County, Nevada. The property posses classic gold/copper mineralization and extensive covered areas where other skarn or sediment-hosted mineralization may lie undetected. A full exploration project which includes mapping and sampling, along with a full geophysical survey will be undertaken in early 2010.
Last summer, Delta entered into an agreement with a private funding company to ensure that it would have the necessary resources to expand its portfolio of properties and conduct any exploration work on the newly purchased land. It was because of this funding agreement that Delta was able to purchase the land in Elko County and is fully funded to conduct all work that it deems necessary in 2010.
