MDGC: Yes, it can be accomplished in the real world as long as all the links in the chain (backbone, router, wireless adapter) can operate at those speeds. Drivers for what exactly? If the access points are 802.11n (draft) compliant, any 802.11n or 802.11b/g wireless adapter can connect. However, the 802.11b/g devices would be limited in speed.
