Cool. But the wireless adapter (built-in, in the case of phone, tablets, and many notebooks) has to be capable. I'm sure there are some aftermarket wireless adapters that are taking advantage of this (?). But are currently shipping integrated units capable of exceeding 54 (for example, iPhones, iPads, Droids etc)?

I've certainly never seen it in the wild.
