I suspect that plays well to those who think stock message boards are an arena for a battle between longs and shorts and making money is the only objective. In fact, however, the only "agenda" for some posters is to separate the wheat from the chaff, the hype from the reality, vacuous claims from substance, the pumping from the bashing or, more simply, the truth from fiction.
Some wish to see the stock drop, some which to see the stock gain.
And some don't care one way or the other because they have no financial stake in the stock.
