The DTCC, SEC nor FINRA take actions like this to protect the company, they are protecting the investors.

seriously .. this is believed?

fyi

i had the most honest conversation mid feb
<in the last 3 years> with an sec employee
who admitted to me that the OTC was set up
for BS .. <read fraud> what gets their *attn*
are squeaky wheels .. which apparently doesn't
happen as often as one might think as shares
are shaken and folks move elsewhere

a quick read of the DTCC's *client* base reveals their interests

i'll also be very clear .. in that i'm far more
impressed with finra than i am the sec .. finra
is more interested from the MMs' *involved* and
i've interacted specifically with their whistle
blower group about one unregistered co. since i
first learned of the whistle blower group earlier this year

i'd strongly rec'd anyone to contact them with
specifics .. they are extremely *responsive* to
those who can *OFFER* specific details observed

Office of the Whistleblower
Dedicated Team to Handle High-Risk Tips

FINRA's Office of the Whistleblower expedites the review of high-risk tips by FINRA senior staff and ensures a rapid response for tips believed to have merit.

Through the Office of the Whistleblower, individuals with evidence of, or material information about, potentially illegal or unethical activity can reach senior staff, who can quickly assess the level of risk involved and make sure that each tip is properly evaluated. Those tips warranting additional review and investigation will be subject to an expedited regulatory response.

FINRA will refer any whistleblower tips that fall outside its jurisdictional reach to the appropriate regulatory or law enforcement agencies.

FINRA's whistleblower initiative does not replace longstanding processes for handling thousands of routine regulatory tips and customer complaints each year.
