A while back I transfered my VTSI shares from TD Waterhouse to Ameritrade because TD changed their policy and it would have cost me over $1000 in commission to sell the shares as opposed to $10 for Ameritrade.

Then the two companies merged shortly after that and kept Ameritrade's penny friendly policy.

I still haven't sold a share.
