CLARIFICATION---Susan DID NOT say anything about a RED FLAG, I DID!!!
MY point is, why would they be so difficult to locate if they do exist? Why would they say they are near Kaslo BC (Pop.1000) when the business is reg with BC Forest Safe in Winlaw 100km (62.5 mi) away. And if they are near Kaslo, don't you think that Debra Hamilton would know even without looking through directories? Rock Quarry processing isn't exactly a quiet operation.

Business
In addition to the company’s unique product, Bermal Contracting’s quarrying process differentiates the company from competition. The company quarries on site, which lowers transportation costs and results in more competitive pricing.

The company will produce pallets of varying size that will be sold directly to medium and high-end landscapers. Currently the company projects that they will be able to produce 10 pallets of stone a week, with a retail value of $1,500 to $2,500 per pallet.

At this time, the company is investing in capital equipment in order to start and run operations. The company plans to be on site in May 2011.

Basically the company is a start up. They have never process stone before.
