Weather Forecast
Sunday, March 20th 7:30 am
For the last full day of winter, we're going to see scattered showers with a chance for some evening thunderstorms.
Saturday is the Super Moon. It's a full moon in it's closest orbit of earth since 1983. Don't don't expect spectacular viewing with just some breaks in the cloud likely, but even a glimpse will prove interesting. The moon will be 14% closer than during it's normal orbit. When it's low on the horizon it will appear 30% brighter. In Portland it rises at 7:57 Sunday night.
Today will start out partly cloudy with increasing clouds druring the day. Highs will be cooler than average inthe low to mid 50's. There's still a chance of showers, but expect more dry than wet conditions.
Partly to mostly cloudy skies with a chance of showers is the forecast for the week ahead.
Tonight's Low: 37
Sunday's High: 52
7. After a day of surfing, you return to your parked vehicle on the beach in the sand. But when you accelerate, you can’t get the vehicle to move. WHAT IS YOUR IMMEDIATE COURSE OF ACTION?
A) Start the vehicle, slowly accelerate, and move the vehicle forward slowly.
B) Lower your tire pressure and once you are able to start moving, keep going and don’t stop.
C) Floor the accelerator and avoid graduated movements.
