What is the real reason for the DTCC chill?

The answer to this is only the DTCC could answer for us. I have Actually made contact (to see the result of see my posts over last week) and they refereced an old SEC lawsuit. Now that being said I would like to point out that case has long since been settled. IMO they are providing mis-direction in an effort to manipulate PPS to cover naked shorts.

What did the company know of the chill and when did they know?

This one I believe I can safely say the company knew as soon as it happened but was under the impression as we were that it was due to a dividend settlement. That being said I also believe that after the dividend settlement date they realized something was wrong and started looking into it.

The DTC chill is going on longer than we would expect for a dividend issuance and we are looking into the reason for the delay in lifting the chill.

Please notice the bolded date time only about 1 week after dividend date. Giving the DTCC time to finish divy settlement but not too much before they realized there was a problem and began to take action.
