Olddog re Qualcomm vs IDCC director compensation

I picked up the $27,000 figure for Q's outside director compensation based upon a May 10, 2004 Forbes article, entitled "Blame the Board". I did not verify the accuracy of the article as I assumed it was right. Appreciate the correct information re compensation of Q's outside directors.

Based upon this revised information, it appears that the total compensation package of IDCC's outside directors, not counting the "extra" compensation to Campagna and Roath, is very comparable to Qualcomm's outside directors. However, Q is a $54 Billion market cap company, whereas, IDCC is less than $1B in market cap. I should have said that IDCC's outside director compensation is way above normal for a small cap company.
