More color on CO2 capture: A typical 500Mw coal-fired power plant would require $500M worth of tonnage-gas facilities to implement CO2 capture. This would consist of a $200M 10Ktons/day O2-generator on the front end and a $300M unit on the back end to do the actual CO2 capture. (Source: APD’s Jefferies webcast)
