I like the snow 
You probably get it a little more often further north up there. We only got a little bit (1-2 inches) but the ice makes driving treacherous.
I take it the bad New Zealand quake didn't impact your daughter too much down there? Sure seems like a pretty country to visit for some flyfishing but a looong ways away too.
Let's hope for some warmer weather before your trout fishing lake outing. Gonna be setting record lows the next couple nights! Hope those tulips and daffodils I planted don't get nipped on the growing tips. They're already coming up but this cold may test them.
