Uranium - Here's a link to an item on Uranium and Uranium mining. Seems that the stuff is real cheap and that it isn't very profitable, unless you can find a way to mine it for real cheap. Article mentions that due to cheap uranium prices, many mines can't compete and shut down. Article is from 2000, but I don't think the "chronically depressed nature of the uranium market" has since picked up any. Check it out:
